Rodgers Fulmar in Southern California.
I have two specimens of Fulmarus rodgersi which I found dead on the sand near Sunset Beach, Orange County, March 1, 1908. Several others were seen at the same time in different stages of decomposition. This species is probably a regular migrant along our coast, well out at sea.
