A Vermillion Flycatcher in Los Angeles County, California.
I desire to record the taking of a Vermillion Flycatcher (Pyrocephalus rubineus mexicanus), male, at El Monte, California, February 8, 1908. It was taken in the willow-bottom about a mile from that town. The bird was not shy and acted about the same as any other bird of this family.
