Gonadal cycle of Gray Gulls, Larus modestus, in northern Chile.

Abstract
Gonadal cycles of male and female Gray Gulls are described and related to their seasonal reproductive behavior in northern Chile. Nesting and laying, which occur between November and January, are asynchronous within and among years, presumably related to food availability and/or predation pressure.
