The Grayson painting which appears in this issue shows Wagler Orioles (Zcteras Wugleri) in a coffee tree. The setting is near Tepic, in Nayarit, Mexico, in January of 1866. This is the twenty-second Grayson painting to be presented in The Condor. It is made available through the generosity of an anonymous donor.

The annual index for The Condor again was prepared by Mrs. Sylvia L. Thomssen, to whom members are much indebted for this valuable aid
